Hapūtanga rite kite | Pregnancy ritual kit
WELCOME YOUR PEPI (BABY) WITH INTENTION
This selfcare ritual kit is intended to help manifest a calming birth free from fear and anxiety and set intentions by preparing the whare tangata (house of humanity or womb) for the arrival of pepi. It follows tikanga Māori (Māori customs) to acknowledge ngā tangata whenua - the peoples of this land (Aotearoa) on which we stand and the rongoā rākau (native plants) which have been harvested from this whenua.
Māori believe mana and tapu are both inherited at birth and that hapūtanga (pregnancy) is the instrument by which whakapapa is created. It is the tether that connects us all - therefore it is not only a privilege, but also mahi tapu (sacred work).
Ensuring that the tinana and hinengaro are in sync and in a positive place ahead of pepi coming, is therefore integral to ensure baby also arrives without trauma and fear.
Note: This can only be shipped to those in Aotearoa New Zealand as the kit contains dried botanicals unable to be shipped internationally.
