TUKU - TO RELEASE, OR LET GO

Learning to accept and trust ourselves as well as the present moment (or our current reality) is a way in which we can set ourselves free and balance our mindset.

Using this bath soak will help you achieve this by releasing your mauri (life force) with its soothing bath salts. It is made with wild harvested rau (leaf), following tikanga Māori (Māori customs) to ensure it is infused with the greatest benefit to its recipient.

KINAKI | INGREDIENTS

Pink himalayan salt | maris sal - with whakapapa to Pakistan, this salt is said to contain powerful healing properties and is known for its ability to balance the skins pH levels, absorb dirt and toxins, reduce inflammation, deeply moisturise the skin, help to soothe dryness.

Epsom salt | magnesium sulphate - with whakapapa to Germany, this salt is said to soothe and calm sore muscles due to its natural magnesium and sulfate content but also soften rough, dry skin and help to exfoliate away dead skin cells leaving your skin looking and feeling soft and refreshed. A great salt for sensitive and irritating skin conditions.

Jojoba oil | simmondsia chinensis  steeped with kawakawa, manuka, kanuka, lavender, calendula, and chamomile - similar to skin produced sebum allowing deeper penetration. Aotearoa NZ glacial clay | kaolin - with whakapapa to Canterbury, this clay was formed through the combination of ancient volcanic
ash and fresh glacial water at the foothills of the Southern Alps over three million years ago. Due to the nature of the volcanic ash and the fresh glacial water environment, it also contains other healing clays such as kaolinite, illite and montmorillinite. It is unique in that it can produce an “electrical
charge” when hydrated, which is said to allow it to absorb toxins, heavy metals, chemicals and other impurities from the skin and body.

Eucalyptus essential oil | eucalyptus globulus - thought to
aid skin healing, refresh and clear the mind, and help concentration and focus. It is also thought to help cool heated emotions and balance extreme moods.
